Higher Transition Temperature Measurements in the MAJORS Sample

Abstract

We request 30.5 hours to observe the star-forming regions W40 and G35 in NH3 (1,1) - (5,5) emission to test the reliability of ammonia????derived gas temperatures for comparison with HCN and HCO++ from the MAJORS survey. Our aim is to assess whether dust and gas temperature estimates agree across different environments.
