Polarization and spectrum study of FRB 20240209A
Abstract
Recently Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME) has detected three bursts from FRB 20240209A. FRB 20240209A is an active nearby repeating FRB and the burst rate is estimated to be greater than 10/hr. We request GBT observations at 800 MHz and L-band to search for new bursts. This will enable the uniquely-powerful measurements of polarimetry and spectrum.
