Polarization study of FRB20121102A

Abstract

We have recently detected a burst of FRB 20121102A with FAST. We request GBT observations at S-band or C-band to search for new bursts. This will enable the uniquely-powerful measurements of polarimetry. The polarimetry of this source can help us study the local electromagnetic circumstances and the emission mechanism.
