PRIMOS-2: Line Surveys of Molecule-Rich Sources

Abstract

We propose to extend the success of the GBT PRIMOS Project broadband molecular line survey, originally toward Sgr B2(N), to two fascinating sources in under-subscribed LST ranges, Orion-KL and the Orion Bar, through a 'filler-like' project. The observations will, when combined with existing data, provide a nearly-complete 5 mK line survey from 4 - 95 GHz. The data will be reduced by the PRIMOS-2 team and made publicly-available through the existing SLiSE interface.
