Constrain the orbital parameters for a Millisecond Pulsar J1810-0622 with GBT

Abstract

We propose Green Bank Telescope (GBT) L-band (1.15-1.73 GH) observations to monitor PSR J1810-0622, a millisecond pulsar recently discovered with the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST). Our proposed observations will help us characterize the newly discovered millisecond pulsar, by first determining the key orbital parameters. The data we take as part of this proposal would also be useful to help us understand the pulsar with additional pulsar timing application by submitting a regular proposal for the coming 25A semester.
